Focus and Scope
An-Nur International Journal of Islamic Thought (AIJIT) publishes scholarly works that explore Islam as both a textual tradition and a dynamic social reality. The journal invites interdisciplinary research grounded in classical, contextual, and critical approaches to Islamic thought.
We welcome articles across a range of disciplines in the Social Sciences and Humanities, including philosophy, law, ethics, mysticism, education, gender, politics, linguistics, anthropology, history, and the arts.
AIJIT encourages contextual and comparative studies of Islam, with particular interest in how Islamic thought is expressed across different cultures and societies.
