OPEN ACCESS

All articles published in AIJIT (An-Nur International Journal of Islamic Thought) are open-access. Publishing an article in AIJIT has become essential to freely provide research findings for universal access, reading, downloading, sharing, and viewing. Articles are published under the CC-BY-SA license, allowing for usage, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided proper citation, use is non-commercial, and no modifications or adaptations are made.

In alignment with the primary definitions of open access found in various literature, such as the Budapest, Berlin, and Bethesda declarations, AIJIT defines open access with the following conditions:

Authors and copyright holders grant unrestricted and unconditional permission to all users to read, copy, download, utilise, and create derivative works responsibly by the Copyright Notice without needing subscriptions or cost barriers.
A complete version of the work and all supplementary materials, including a copy of the permission as mentioned above, in a suitable standard electronic format, are promptly deposited upon initial publication in at least one online repository supported by an academic institution or another well-established organisation aiming to facilitate open access, unrestricted distribution, interoperability, and long-term archiving, e.g., LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, or PubMed.
